Yung shue wan is about a 1 hr walk or a 30 minute bike ride. The Aberdeen ferry takes about 25 minutes and you can then catch a bus conviently anywhere in Hong Kong. The place is quiet with a great view of the ocean and mountains (write me and will send some pictures). The flat itself is 700' and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Included in the price is utilities, internet service, television service (4 Hbo/1 Cinemax/ 1 Star television), and use of the local phone (mobile service is spotty). You would be sharing the flat with myself and my girlfriend (when she is in Hong Kong...which is quite a bit...but the flat is always cleaner when she is here). I'm 41, a phd philosophy student at HKU, from California and very laid back. We are ideally looking for someone for a period of six months, but would be willing to consider someone at a shorter stay for slightly higher rent (due to inconvience). This place is ideal for a student who wants a quiet place to study or a business person who wants to get away from the city at night. There are inconviences however...there is only one resturant closeby (except for seafood places in Sok Kwu wan) and no stores, but ferry runs almost every hour until 10:50. If like to go out late, the sanpans are usually available all night long in Aberdeen and cost around $120.00 if you are a good negotiator. Room will be available after Sept 1st.
